Alhamdulillah, we have done our first interview.

My group members and I have done an interview with Mr. Salamat Bin Pigi, owner of the Soto Nor Cafe at his second branch restaurant. The interview was to get the information about the operation.

Sixth Meeting

Activity:

The purpose of this discussion was to discuss with group members about an interview that will be conducted tomorrow ( December 30, 2014). Just like we're already said it before, this interview are still related to the operation department. 

On last Wednesday (December 24, 2014), Intan has contacted the Bintulu Development Authorithy (BDA) Head Office, Wisma Bintulu, Jalan Tanjung Kidurong to get permission to interview the licensing section. Based on conversations on the phone with Mrs. Jaihan, staff of BDA Licensing Section, she allowed us to do the interview. She also told us to come before 8.00 am and met with Mr. Awang Ali Bin Awang Amin,  Senior Manager (Municipal Services) at his room at ground floor of 005. The interview date has been set on December 30, 2014 (Tuesday).

For a discussion this night, we detailed the descriptions of question more clearly and dividing tasks to ask questions to the parties. Furthermore, we have agreed to leave at 7.00 am to BDA Head Office, Wisma Bintulu. After the discussion was completed, we're  disperse at 10.02 pm.

Activity:

The purpose of the meeting is to decide the next place for interview and list down the suitable question that need to be ask.

The question are still relate to operation department but more focus on the procedure to set up the business such as how to register a business?, terms and condition to get a license, tax for inventories and the procedure to hire the employees. So, the next organisation to be interview is Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) Head Office, Wisma Bintulu, Tanjung Kidurong. Ms. Intan was given the responsible to set the next interview with BDA.

Types of Business : Restaurant

Name                    : Happy Family Restaurant (the name was chosen to represent the identity of the                                    business concept)

Establish Date       : Will establish on year 2015

Vision:

To become a restaurant that provide variety of food with family concept that success in Malaysia.

Mission:

• To provide foods that fulfil and satisfy customer needs and wants.
• Build the environment with the family concept to the customers.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and comfortability of the customers.

Concept of The Restaurant:

• Family concept
• Will provide food that suitable for all generation but more focus to the family including east food, western food and local food with healthy recipes.

Here are all about the business background. Before our group establish our restaurant, we need to know step by step the procedure to set up the restaurant. So, during the meeting, all of us already decided time and date to see with Mr. Salamat, Soto Nor Cafe owner's. We'll interview Mr. Salamat at 3 pm tomorrow evening at his restaurant about operation.

Hello Everyone...

This is already the third meeting for our group members to discuss about the first place to be interview by us(13 December 2014). Alhamdulillah, we decided to manage our interview at Soto Nor Restaurant on next week. One of our group members, Mr. Haniff already surveyed and faced the owner of that restaurant.

Activity

1. Discuss the questions about operation department that need to be ask to the Soto Nor Cafe owner's.

2. Decided the date to arrange the appointment with the owner, Mr. Salamat.

On Sunday, 30 November 2014 my group members and I have done the first meeting to discuss about types of business for our company. Here the list of suggestion business that we talking about:

All of us was agreed to choose Restaurant as our business. To create this business, we formed the project assignment chart to survey the related strategy that we can use in our own business plan. The chart is as follow:
